Squier Bullet Series

The Squier Bullet collection is one of their most cost-effective series of guitars, offering classic Fender designs at an affordable price. It’s a great range for beginners to start learning guitar on models that are stylish and affordable, and you can’t find a better place to start than with the Squier Bullet series of iconic Stratocasters, Telecasters, and Mustangs.

The variety in this collection makes it easy for new starters to find a guitar that suits them. The Squier Bullet Stratocaster is a versatile guitar that lets you play in a variety of styles with its three single-coil pickups. The Squier Bullet Telecaster also has single-coil pickups and is especially suited to fans of indie and country music. The Squier Bullet Mustang has thick-sounding dual humbuckers which make it ideal for playing heavy rock as they’re better for overdrive and distortion. These are all available in a variety of bold, classic colours to suit your style.

The Squier Bullet Mustang Electric Guitar is perfect for beginners, as they’re comfortable to play, affordable, and look great. They’re especially good for those who want to play indie music and hard rock.

The original Fender Mustang, introduced in 1964, was designed as a ‘student’ guitar. However, it soon found favour as a serious instrument with many players from Kurt Cobain to Adrian Belew! This Bullet incarnation takes the famous offset body shape crafted from Basswood and ups the power with a pair of humbuckers, providing a big sound, and offers rock-solid tuning stability from a modern hardtail bridge. There is a comfy ‘C’ shape maple neck and 22 medium jumbo frets, making it easy to play. The Bullet Mustang has all the vibe of the original! The combination of playability and price make this great for anyone looking for their first guitar, and it’s well-suited to kids with their smaller hands.

Available in Black and Imperial Blue.

I concur with other reviewers that for a budget or 'entry level' guitar this is really rather decent. Sure the frets are a bit 'scrapey' sounding and would benefit from a polish. The pickups are not the greatest, a bit thin/weedy but not terribly so, they do an adequate job. The most impressive thing is that it's so playable straight out of the box. It would be ideal for a beginner. Hard to believe they can make them this good for such a low price. Back in my youth cheap guitars were generally horrendous in terms of playability and sound but not so now. I bought it to try out a short scale guitar and will probably upgrade most of the components eventually but there's no rush, I can certainly live with it as it is for now.

Amazing little guitar, bought it to try out a couple of custom/upgrade ideas. Light, basic, plays surprisingly well out of the box.

Unfortunately the guitar which I received had several quality issues and had to be returned. The service from the seller GAK was very good though.
