Vintage Mic Preamp Mode

With Vintage Mic Preamp mode engaged, you can instantly impart your vocals and instruments with character, warmth and richness derived from the legendary Universal Audio 610 preamp. This mode is a faithful emulation of that hallowed preamp’s valve circuitry and is exclusive to UA interfaces. By pressing a button, you can enhance your audio with a vintage flavour that echoes iconic recordings by Jimi Hendrix, Ray Charles, Van Halen and Neil Young.

No Latency Monitoring

Universal Audio’s Volt 476P gives you four analogue preamp inputs and four outputs at your disposal. All the inputs are conveniently located on the front panel, making plugging in your guitars, synths, keyboards and mics a breeze. Your go-to studio monitors and headphones can then be used to directly monitor your audio without any latency. With two studio-grade headphone amps onboard, both you and your artist can monitor the recording simultaneously with loud, clear audio.

Volt 476P can be combined with an iPad or iPhone to create a powerful and portable mobile recording rig. To use Volt 476P with your compatible iOS device, you need to use the included Volt power supply and an Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter (iPhone and non-USB-C iPads).
