For fourteen years, the famous BOSS FV-300 served as an industry-standard volume pedal. The tradition continued with the FV-50 series, but today the bar has been raised with BOSS's new FV-500H (high-impedance) and FV-500L (low-impedance) pedals.

These tank-tough die-cast pedals are designed to meet the needs of the most demanding customers. The pedals offer a new stylish design, a road-tough build, and a comfortable, smooth action.

Both models provide an Expression output for use with expression-compatible amps, effects, and even synthesisers.

Calibrated the FV500H pedal with BOSS GP10 via a 2 meter stereo TRS lead. As a partially sighted musician I prefer to have controllers, displays on my studio desk within a couple of feet of my LG 32" monitor

Bought for use on lap steel. Very smooth travel and nice transition from off to full volume. As with all boss pedals, it is of a sturdy construction. It is very large and would take up precious space on a pedal board, but that's not a concern of mine, as I use it on the floor. Overall a very good quality volume pedal, with adjustable stiffness and mimimum volume. Highly recommended.

Great product, well worth the money. Have only used as a volume pedal so far but looking forward to seeing how it goes as an expression pedal.
