Fantastic guitar for the price. Cannot fault it at all, set up perfect out of the box, low action, great playability. Would suit beginner or gigging musician. As good as most guitars I have played at double the price.

Wow... This is my first Gretsch. I understand it's their "mid price" range. I wasn't quite sure what to expect... But this is an absolutely top notch guitar for the price. It generates THE sound of AC/DC unlike any other guitar I own, including SGs. But once you've stopped playing Malcolm Young parts, it's a REALLY versatile guitar for rock, blues, pop, whatever. Very nice early Christmas present to myself.

Plays really well for a guitar of this price. The finish is excellent. Highly recommended.
