Retro cool meets modern performance! Ibanez have taken inspiration from a number of more traditional guitars with this awesome Roadcore model yet have produced an instrument that still manages to be fresh and exciting. So we have a Mahogany slab body which is double-bound top and bottom. The Maple neck has a medium profile with a 9.5" radius Rosewood 'board and medium frets topped with a Graph Tech® TUSQ nut. There's a pair of Alnico Core Tone humbuckers, the bridge one is open coil and the neck one covered, both have coil taps when you pull up on the tone control. The thru-body stringing of the Tight-Tune bridge transfers the string's vibration very well so helps sustain.
All in all an extremely versatile guitar which looks, sounds & plays great.
