JHS Pedals Volture 9V Voltage Sag Pedal Overview

Get the perfect fuzz tone with ease with the JHS Pedals Volture 9v Voltage Sag Pedal, a consistent way to achieve that coveted “dying battery” tone.

Guitar players have been searching for the perfect fuzz tone since the invention of the fuzz effect in the early 1960s. One trick to achieve the ideal tone is by using a dying battery, but who has time for that? That’s where JHS Pedals comes in with the Volture 9V Voltage Sag Pedal.

Precision Voltage Control

The JHS Pedals Volture is a modern solution for your vintage fuzz circuitry. Place it between your power supply and your pedal, and you can precisely trim the input voltage to replicate the tone of a dying battery. This allows you to achieve the ideal fuzz tone without having to wait for your battery to die or constantly replace batteries.

Vintage and Beyond

Though the Volture was developed specifically for vintage fuzz circuits, it will work on any fully analogue pedal. Experiment with your overdrives or distortions and you might be surprised by the trippy sounds you discover.

Seamless Integration

The Volture requires standard 9V DC negative power, making it easy to integrate into your pedalboard. Its compact form factor means you’ll have plenty of space for your other effects pedals.

I’ve always loved the sound a dying battery makes in my fuzz pedal but I had to wait for It to drain and of course it only hit that sweet spot for a limited time. Now I can lower the voltage to that grungy broken sound I want permanently.
