Marshall ORI50H Origin 50W Valve Head Overview

A 50W Valve Head from Marshall, the ORI50H gives rich, harmonic tones in a sleek package. The Origin amps use 3x ECC83 preamp valves and 2x EL34 power valves to give you that classic all-valve British tone.

The head features Tilt Tone control, allowing you to shape the tone of the amp. Whether you are looking for a British rock, valve sound or a distorted heavy rock sound, the Tilt Tone will give you all the tools.

Onboard power staging allows you to switch between wattages to either decrease or increase your headroom. You can switch your gain depending on your environment, whether you're on stage, in the studio or at home.

A return to form from Marshall! Buy one!

Marshall amps have frustrated me in the past. Some over complicated with fizzy od channels. I'm an old school guitarist and like the old plexi amps but, as we all know they are very expensive and often require a fair bit of money to make them reliable. Buy a reissue and the problem's sorted. No! You will wipe out the first few rows with the amps power which these days is far too much for us mere mortals that are not playing stadiums. So it's nice to see Marshall finally going back to their roots with the wallet friendly Origin range. Great sounding amps that are destined to become classics.
