The Roland TD-07 V-Drums Series is made for the drummer that is looking for an Electronic Drum Kit that is built to last. Each kit in the range is incredibly easy to use, making them perfect for new drummers. What is more impressive, is the number of advanced features, meaning each TD-07 will take you right through to an advanced standard.
The TD-07 Module is packed full of modern features, making it extremely versatile. It can be used to learn drums at home, studio recording or live performance. The module powers five different kit configurations, with options in both the TD or VAD ranges. Whether you need something compact for home, something to practice on or even take to gigs, the TD-07 caters to all.
The Range:
VAD103 | TD-07KVX | TD-07KX | TD-07KV | TD-07DMK
Each TD-07 V-Drums Kit comes with a 2-year warranty
The TD-07 Module is at the heart of each kit in the series. This compact Drum Sound Module may be small in size, but don’t let this fool you, as it has big ideas.
A Massive Selection Of Drum Sounds
The TD-07 module comes with 50 kits, 25 Preset and 25 Users. You can use the 50 kit locations to build/customise and create your own drum kits from the 143 onboard sounds. This covers everything from acoustic drums, cymbals, electronic samples and world percussion, making the TD-07 ready to play in any style of music possible.
Each individual pad can be assigned to be anything you want. If you wanted the kick to be a cowbell - it can! The Hi-Hat Control Pedal will also open/close hi-hat samples that have been assigned to other pads on the TD-07KV. This means it supports secondary hi-hat kit setups.
More Realistic Pad Options
The TD-07 series is the first range of Roland V-Drums compatible with the VH-10 and VH-11 Hi-Hat Systems (sold separately). These are operated by an acoustic hi-hat stand, meaning you are closer to the experience of playing an acoustic drum kit.
No matter which option you choose in the TD-07 series, each kit configuration includes Roland's highly coveted double-ply mesh pads. This gives each TD-07 a super realistic feel and drumstick rebound that makes you feel like you are playing an acoustic drum kit.
Deep Editing Capabilities
The TD-07 Module has some really advanced editing options, including Room Ambience, Overhead Mic Simulation, Individual Pad Transients and Individual Pad EQ. Room Ambience allows you to place the chosen kit sound to be positioned in a specific environment, like a studio, stage, theatre, stadium or rehearsal room and your drum kit will make you feel as if you were there! Overhead Mic Simulation enables TD-07 users to choose which specific set of Drum Consender Microphones are capturing the drum sound, the same way a producer would in a studio when recording acoustic drums.
Individual Pad Transients means that drummers can change the way a specific pad reacts when sticking it, so the TD-07 will behave specifically how you want it to. Individual Pad EQ keeps the drummer in control of the overall tone of each drum, ensuring you have your ideal drum tone at all times. There is an extensive effects section within the TD-07, with 30 types for you to get creative with. All these settings can be easily read on the LCD Backlit screen, so you know where everything is and how you’ve set them.
A Drum Teacher In A Box
The Roland TD-07 is your very own drum tutor, with 5 inbuilt coaching lessons. These include Time Check (easy), Time Check (hard), Quiet Count, Auto Up/Down and Change-Up. Time Check assesses how accurately you play in time to a metronome. Quiet Count gives you 3 bars of metronome and 1 silent bar, and the TD-07 will see how accurately you maintain tempo. Auto Up/Down changes the speed of the metronome whilst you are playing, testing your listening skills. Change-Up is a rhythmic exercise, covering all the rhythmic divisions within a bar.
Built For Every Drumming Scenario
The TD-07 seamlessly integrates with your studio set-up, as it has a built-in USB MIDI/Audio interface. This means each TD-07 kit can be used as a MIDI Controller to your favourite drum plugins are on your chosen DAW or you can record the audio of the kit sound you have made within the TD-07 module itself. There is a mini-jack Mix Input if you would like to connect your media player to the module to play along to your favourite songs. However, what’s even better, is that the TD-07 supports Bluetooth Audio/MIDI, enabling you to stream audio to the module from your Smart Device wirelessly.
