Walrus Audio Descent Reverb Octave Machine Pedal Overview
The Walrus Audio Descent Reverb Octave Machine has 8 controls that let you find your perfect reverb, whether it’s thick hall reverbs, symphonic shimmers or ambient soundscapes. You can also use the auxiliary momentary switch in the fav input to switch the pedal on or off and save presets.
The Descent Reverb Octave Machine Pedal has three reverb systems - Hall, Reverse, and Shimmer. In each reverb, you can add more octaves into the reverberated signal to add another dimension to your sound.
Hall is a classic reverb that can turn your signal from a small room to a long-hall echo. Reverse plays back unique responses and can be altered with pre-delay time controls. Shimmer highlights the octave features, and you can mix in your signal to create a full symphony.
If your pedalboard is already crowded with other pedals, you can set the Descent at the back of the board and run a small SPST switch to the front of the board. The expression pedal control works with most other expression pedals which lets you assign the high and low parameters which you can then fade in and out of with the expression pedal.
